Do you use Instagram every day? Perhaps multiple times per day? Are you never off your phone, constantly checking for those likes, comments and DM’s? Me too! I just can’t get enough of that beautiful purple-y, orange-y, pink camera icon.
There was a point however, when I wondered how I could be spending so much time on my Instagram account, posting pictures, videos and stories, and still not managing to generate high levels of engagement. What was I doing wrong? I will tell you. It was all to do with my hashtagging habits.
Using hashtags is vital when it comes to generating engagement with your content. You can use hashtags on your grid posts as well as on your stories, and I would highly recommend using them consistently on both.
But you can’t just post any old hashtag. No! It doesn’t work like that. You must be strategic, and you have to know which hashtags will work best for you. ‘But how do I do that?’ I hear you cry. With a little thing called Task Ant my friends.
Have I piqued your interest? Read on to find out how Task Ant worked for me and how it can work for you too.
Task Ant Review: What Is It?
Task Ant is an app that generates the best hashtags for Instagram. It also tells you which hashtag strategies are working for others so that you can steal them then build upon them.
Why is Task Ant the best Hashtag generator out there?
Finding Hashtatgs
As I have already mentioned, you can’t just use any old hashtag. You need to use hashtags that are relevant to your product. For example, if you are working in the fitness industry, you might want to use a hashtag such as #gymfit. Whereas if you are working in theatre you would be more likely to use something like #actor.
You need to get your audience relevant hashtags, this way they are more likely to come across your content.
Once you’ve decided on a word that relates to your product, all you need to do is put the word into the Task Ant generator. After that, Task Ant will let you know all the related hashtags you could be using as part of your posts. Alongside finding hashtags that are related to your content, it will also give you an analysis of each of these tags.
Hashtag Sets
Finding the correct hashtags can become a little time consuming and boring. Fear not, after a while Task Ant will begin to memorize the hashtags you use the most and list them in one place so that you don’t have to try and remember them all.
Coming Soon
Task Ant also has some brilliant features ‘Coming Soon’ to further enhance your experience. This includes measuring performance, tracking competitors and post ideas.
The ‘measuring performance’ feature will keep track of your latest posts and monitor how well they are performing.
Task Ant will also track your competitors so you can see what is working for them and what isn’t.
Free Basic Plan
I’m as sceptical as the next person when it comes to websites asking for money. That is why the #basic package for Task Ant is brilliant. This package gives you 20 results per search, 5 hashtag sets and standard customer support without having to pay a single thing.
If after trying Task Ant’s basic package you decide you would like to try a more comprehensive package, you can get the #solo package for $15 per month (this includes 100 results per search, 5 sets and priority support) or there is the #agency package for $25 per month (this has unlimited results, unlimited sets and unlimited support).
I only have one Instagram account so I am happy enough with the basic package, but if you have more than one account then the #agency package would be the best option for you.
To Conclude My Review
I have tried and experimented a few different hashtag generators and Task Ant has by far been the best I have found. It has everything I need to be at the top of my hashtag game, which has resulted in more followers on my Instagram page as well as much more engagement with my content. The results speak for themselves.
But don’t take my word for it. Go and try it out for yourself and see. It’s free so you’ve got nothing to lose but everything to gain.
