Method 01: Using Motherboard:

  5. To short circuit pins 1 and 3, use any conductor (such as a screwdriver) or a wire is used to connect the pins.
  6. Wait for your system to boot up.

Method 02: Using Wall Socket:

  1. Remove the cord from the power button’s connection to the motherboard.
  2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
  3. The laptop will turn on when plugged into a wall outlet.
  4. If you want to unplug the laptop from the power outlet, replace the battery.

Method 03: Using Laptop Lid:

  1. When the laptop starts, hit the “F2”, “F10”, or “DEL” keys to enter BIOS.
  2. Enter the phrase “power management.”

Method 04: Using Wake on LAN

Step 01: Enable Wake-on LAN Option.

  3. Set the preferred keys for turning on your laptop and enable Wake-on LAN.
  4. Reboot after saving the adjustments.

How to Turn on Laptop Without Power Button Using Keyboard?

  1. Turn your computer off, then restart it to access the BIOS.
  2. All BIOS are different, so you’ll have to search through the options to find what you are looking for. You’re looking for a ‘Power on By Keyboard’ setting in the ‘Power Management’ section.
