Xiaomi Latest Phone Review: Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G

The Xiaomi latest phone is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. It is the cheapest 5G phone available. And when the Chinese company launched it, the phone was well-received both by critics and consumers. Even though it’s a 5G phone, it’s still considered to be an entry-level model. It’s clearly made for those who want to to enjoy 5G connectivity but are not willing to pay a high price. But is the Redmi Note 10 5G for you? Does it provide good value for money? If you want to know the answers to these questions, then you better stick around until the end of the article.

This Xiaomi latest phone has everything you can expect from a mid-range phone, and more. It has three cameras on the back, a decent processor, and a huge battery. But most importantly, it’s future-proof because it has 5G network connectivity already. One may argue that there are much better phones with much better specs at the price range of the Note 10 5G. But the question is, do they have 5G connectivity? Most phones with 5G connectivity belong to the flagship category already. So it’s really a good move from Xiaomi to develop a 5G phone that is within reach of more people.

One of the things that you’ll appreciate about the Redmi Note 10 5G is the design. It doesn’t look cheap at all. In fact, it looks like a premium phone. The black has a sleek two-tone matte finish that looks very stylish. It may still attract fingerprints and dirt but it’s not so bad. It feels great in the hand too. It provides a nice grip so there’s no danger that the phone will accidentally slip off your hand. The phone also feels solid. It doesn’t feel cheap like other budget phones. It’s definitely a phone that you won’t mind being seen using by other people.

The Note 10 5G comes with a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A couple of years ago, only flagship phones came with a 90Hz refresh rate. But now, it’s not uncommon to see phones with a 120Hz refresh rate. But still, a 90Hz refresh rate on a mid-range phone is still impressive. Scrolling through your Facebook page is definitely going to be smooth with this phone. This phone has an LCD and not an LED screen. The latter provides richer colours and more contrast but the difference is really not that big to be honest.

This phone is powered by the MediaTek Density 700. Its performance will not wow you but it can still get the job done. You’ll be able to run even demanding apps with no problem. You can even play games such as PUBG, Mobile Legends, and Call of Duty Mobile with this phone. Just don’t put the graphical settings on high. It also runs on the MIUI 12 software, which can sometimes feel slow. But it’s not really a problem. Overall, this Xiaomi latest phone is indeed worth getting.
