Chromebook Password Not Updating

Chromebook has many positive things like it is faster, secure, and more, but sometimes it acts weird. What can be so much weird?

If it does not recognize you or update your credentials? There might be several reasons for not updating passwords on Chromebook.

There are two very usual reasons for this problem:

  • You might have changed your Google password on another device, and now Chromebook is not syncing it. This is because Chromebook has saved your previous password and now unable to authenticate using a new one.
  • Sometimes, your sync is off, and that is why your password does not update. As a result, it shows outdated credentials. So, for this, check out whether your Chromebook is synced or not.
